Define a transformer requirement
A useful technical enquiry should describe the electrical duty, the site and the acceptance requirements.
Electrical duty
Rated MVA, primary and secondary voltages, frequency, impedance, vector group and tap range.
Site conditions
Ambient temperature, altitude, pollution or coastal conditions, available footprint and transport limits.
Performance priorities
Loss evaluation, cooling, sound limits, reliability needs and monitoring interfaces.
Testing & delivery
Applicable standards, required tests, documentation, destination and target project schedule.
Planned power transformer portfolio
A phased development programme for high-voltage transformers and future power equipment, built around technology transfer, engineering readiness and customer requirements.
PHASE 1
132 / 230 / 380 kV
Initial development scope: high-voltage power transformers for utility transmission and major industrial power systems.
132 kV
72 units/year planned
230 kV
48 units/year planned
380 kV
12 units/year planned
Total planned design capacity: 132 units per year. These figures describe the project's design plan, not current production or confirmed delivery capacity.
Final MVA ratings, winding arrangements, cooling systems, insulation levels and accessories will be defined through engineering and customer specifications.
PHASE 2
500 / 700 kV class
A planned expansion into higher-voltage transformer classes within the project site. Implementation depends on technical readiness, test capability, qualification and market requirements.
PHASE 3
GIS equipment
A future development phase for gas-insulated switchgear and integrated power equipment. Detailed product scope will be developed through the project's engineering and qualification process.
